We Have No Right to God's Grace

“The point I am making is quite offensive to us today. It is that God hides himself from us that he cannot be had on our terms, and that he cannot be accessed from “below” through natural revelation. In the malls, and in much of life, we encounter nothing like this. We expect access. We expect to be able to get what we want, when we want it, and on our terms."

"What is man that You are mindful of him. And the son of man that You visit him?" Psalm 8v4.

God is awesome beyond words, God amongst gods, Sovereign over the entire universe which He created, and we think we can tell Him?

The very breath in our bodies God has dominion over, and any time He decides we stop breathing, there is absolutely nothing we can do about it.

...Worship God, Rev 22v9

God bless.

Amen, Dora!

I was just listening to a powerful sermon by John MacArthur this morning on our national holocaust called abortion.

How dare we say that we "made" a baby? It is God alone who gives the breath of life at the moment of conception. We are just the instruments He condescends to use to that end. Yet we sin by waving a revolver in the face of God by trying to "play god" with abortion.

The fact that we talk this way, and the hideous disaster that is abortion in this country, are evidence of our practical atheism.

Blessings.
